Sibanye-Stillwater achieves level 4 Broad-based black economic empowerment accreditation

(PresseBox) - Sibanye-Stillwater (Tickers JSE: SSW and NYSE: SBSW) - https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/sibanye-stillwater-ltd/ - advises shareholders that in accordance with paragraph 16.21 (g) and Appendix 1 to Section 11 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Group’s updated annual compliance report in terms of Section 13G (2) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBBEE) Act 2003 was issued on 30 August 2024 and is available on the Group’s website at www.sibanyestillwater.com/news-investors/reports/regulatory/2024/.
Sibanye-Stillwater’s B-BBEE rating has improved from Level 6 to Level 4 year-on-year, reflecting significant progress from its Level 8 status in 2021. This annual compliance report, prepared under Section 13G (2) of the B-BBEE Act, is required by the JSE for all listed companies.

The mining industry is regulated by the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 and is guided by the Broad-Based Socio-Economic Empowerment Charter for the South African Mining and Minerals Industry (Mining Charter).
