Rohrbach/Ilm 29 November 2010: The software manufacturer CONTENTSERV presented itself at the 2nd OpenHouseDay with a lecture program which included the who is who in the PIM and web-to-print scene and provided a first glimpse of the brand new CONTENTSERV Release CS11.



(firmenpresse) - Top Class Lecturers Every Half Hour

30 lectures altogether, many expert discussions at the get-together, presentation of the CONTENTSERV Star Award and an Italian evening with live music rounded off the OpenHouseDay at CONTENTSERV GmbH. Potential customers, customers, corporate partners and staff were invited to this unique event on 16 November 2010.

Well-known CONTENTSERV customers, such as Avery Zweckform, Texas Instruments, and publish-industry presented best-practice projects. Consultants from marketing, web-to-publish/web-to-print and PIM consultants shared know-how from their wealth of experience and gave insight into the latest developments. Experts included the PIM guru Thomas Lucas-Nülle, Thomas Anderer, one of the most renowned experts for marketing-process optimization and software evaluation, Albrecht Heidinger, the media and web-to-print specialist from Star Publishing GmbH, the dialog-marketing specialist Robert K. Bidmon and Ingo Eichel, Business Development Manager for creative products at Adobe Systems GmbH.

CONTENTSERV experts and their partners impressed their audience with their know-how. The lecturers included CONTENTSERV experts and high-class technology and implementation partners: the leading translation-memory specialists SDL Language Technologies (Trados) and Across Systems GmbH, the database-publishing professionals InBetween GmbH, Magento implementation specialists from altantis media Gmbh to name only a few.

The scope of the topics ranged from „Product Information Management as the Basis for Efficient Cross Media Publishing“, „Software and Processes for Networked Media Production“ to „Cloud-capable Identity Management“. During the breaks, the over 100 visitors had the opportunity to ask the experts specific questions.

„The lectures were all super. I've gathered quite a few new ideas. I found the length of the lectures just right. The event was lively and the time passed very quickly“, summarized Susanna Brühl, Senior Application Engineer-Numeric at Nemetschek Allplan GmbH. This comment represents the generally positive response to a successful event from visitors coming from Austria, Switzerland and throughout Germany.


Presentation: Release CONTENTSERV CS11

The completely restructured CONTENTSERV Release CS11 was presented for the first time to an exclusive audience. The interfaces are more user-friendly and clean. Stringent structures and logic are found throughout all products and modules of the framework. The fully optimized and extended functions in the background make up an innovative main release, which has truly earned the new version numbering (from 5.3 to CS11).
Outstanding: Presentation of the Star Award

The long-awaited presentation of the Star Award was the final item in the official program of the informative day, before the OpenHouseNight drew to a close. Outstanding project implementations in five categories, customers, partners and developments of the previous year were distinguished with the coveted CONTENTSERV Star Award. Complex PIM/MAM and web-to-print and web-to-publish projects, as well as innovative, newly developed Products or features were nominated.
