enhanced guest information and interaction utilising Quick Response (QR) code
technology.

A key component of Acentic Media - the new advanced advertising platform for
the hotel industry - the two-dimensional QR barcodes add value and augment the
hotel-branded on-screen graphical user interface, by enabling hotel guests
better and faster access to information, services and promotions. Acentic's
guest media team, working in conjunction with the hotelier, can create bespoke
hotel apps utilising QR codes or other communication and promotional solutions
leveraging mobile technology. Using smartphones equipped with a camera and
correct reader app (freely available for all smartphones), hotel guests scan
the QR code image that displays any kind of information, such as text,
pictures, URLs or other data on the guest's smartphone.

QR codes provide hotels with flexible earning opportunities through additional
functionality, such as dedicated web pages for guests and advertisers, online
guest surveys and other information. Hoteliers can encourage guests to check
out the hotel's facilities or participate in hotel events. Running various
competitions hidden in QR-codes, they can identify guest participation and
uptake rates, as well as drive revenue when promoting offers, packages or
online win opportunities.

with the typically elusive business traveller in a relaxed and uncluttered
