as the 'Company'), data on the Company being collected and stored in the Legal
Persons' Register, hereby specifies information released today by media about
the forecasted financial results of Lietuvos energija, AB.

The statements that the overall financial result of Lietuvos energija, AB will
be negative this year are unfounded and have been released without taking into
consideration all circumstances that influence performance and financial
results of Lietuvos energija, AB. The financial results of the electricity
production activities of Lietuvos elektrin?, which has become part of Lietuvos
energija, AB, are negatively influenced by fluctuating fuel (gas and fuel oil)
prices, since the actual production cost price does not correspond to the
electricity production cost price approved by the National Control Commission
for Prices and Energy. However, the activities of Lietuvos energija, AB cover
electricity production in Kruonis Pumped Storage Plant and Kaunas Hydroelectric
Power Plant. Moreover, the Company provides systemic services and engages into
electricity trade and supply as well as import and export activities. This
year, the overall financial result of Lietuvos energija, AB will depend on the
financial indicators of all types of activities. Information about performance
results of Lietuvos energija, AB will be published at the procedure prescribed
by legal acts.
