Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a global provider of biometric identity
solutions, announced that Claus Huenting has joined the business to lead the
company's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) sales team.
A former director of sales with LaserCard Corporation with extensive experience
in the ID document industry, Huenting joins Cross Match as vice president, EMEA
sales. He has driven global ID solutions initiatives and successfully
penetrated the national ID market in the Middle East and Africa, having managed
projects for the Saudi Arabian and Angolan governments' national ID programs.
'Claus brings a proven track record in leading international sales initiatives
in the identification solutions market over the last twelve years', said Glenn
Hickok, senior vice president, global solutions for Cross Match. 'His knowledge
of, and relationships in, the biometrics industry and government ID market
compliment and strengthen our commitment to the EMEA marketplace.'
Huenting will be based out of the Cross Match EMEA Regional Office located in
Jena, Germany.
