Sberbank of Russia opened credit line to ENR?Group
February 28, 2012, Moscow - Sberbank of Russia (???: SBER, MICEX: SBER03)
provided 2 billion USD facility for 5 years to ENR?Group, one of leaders
of the global market of ferrochrome and iron ore mining.
Purpose of the credit line - common corporate goals, including funding of
the Group's investment program.
The deal tops the list of major 2012 events on the debt financing market,
serves an illustrative example of the Bank's strategy to develop
international transactions. Sberbank actively participates in funding of
programs of transcontinental holdings expanding their business in the SIC
and other countries.
'The deal marks a new stage of relationships between the Bank and ENRC
Group. Opening of this credit line will become one of the most noticeable
events of early 2012 for the financial market, and another proof of
readiness of Sberbank to arrange large scale credit transactions for its
clients' - commented Aleksey Grenkov, Managing Director - Head of Clients
Manager Administration of the Key Accounts Department of Sberbank of
Russia.
