Research Weighing Factors and Customer Validation Determine Stibo Systems to be the Leading PIM Supplier Based on Both Customer Assurance and Product Functionality

(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA, AUGUST 7, 2012 - Stibo Systems, the Strategic Information Management Technology and Solutions Company?, today announced that the company was awarded the number one "Hot Vendor" in Ventana Research"s 2012 Value Index for Product Information Management based on a thorough review of ten PIM Vendors. The July 2012 report recognized Stibo Systems for creating business value based on a comprehensive assessment and audit across two customer assurance categories: vendor validation and total cost of ownership/return on investment, as well as five product-related categories: reliability, usability, manageability, capability and adaptability.

According to the report, the benefits of using dedicated PIM technology can be significant as more that 40 percent of organizations said it can help eliminate data errors, improve cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, an improve the customer experience through consistent product information. Improving the quality of both product and master data is a critical component for organizations looking to compete in today"s business, as almost three out of five organizations (57%) plan to change their PIM system over the next 12 to 18 months in order to take advantage of technology that can directly meet their business needs.
