the thresholds of 3% and 5% on September 17, 2012 and amounts, as of such date,
to 9.83% (this corresponds to 4,758,000 out of a total of 48,418,400 voting
rights).

pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that its share in the voting rights of Medion
AG, Am Zehnthof 77, 45307 Essen (ISIN DE0006605009) fell below the threshold of
3% on September 17, 2012 and amounts, as of such date, to 0.21% (this
corresponds to 100,000 out of a total of 48,418,400 voting rights).
Elliott Associates, L.P., Wilmington, U.S.A., informed Medion AG on September
19, 2012 pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that its share in the voting rights of
Medion AG, Am Zehnthof 77, 45307 Essen (ISIN DE0006605009) fell below the
threshold of 3% on September 17, 2012 and amounts, as of such date, to 0.21%
(this corresponds to 100,000 out of a total of 48,418,400 voting rights).
All of the aforementioned voting rights are to be attributed to Elliott
