Choice of languages extended / mobile version available / user numbers rising constantly
(PresseBox) - The ContiTech Power Transmission Group's Product Information Center (PIC) is extremely popular. "The number of hits keeps on rising, which is evidence to us of the sector's great interest," explains Jens Heitkemper from the ContiTech Power Transmission Group Marketing Service. The company is continually expanding the online service: it now exists in nine languages and is also available in a mobile version.
The PIC provides users with all the available information on a ContiTech Power Transmission Group product at a glance, quite simply via the item name. The portal has recently been registering up to 150,000 hits a month from automotive professionals looking for information on the power transmission specialist's belts and kits. Users can visit the page at www.contitech.de/pic - including mobile access via a smartphone. A version of the PIC optimized for internet-enabled cellphones has been specifically designed for this purpose. The QR codes on the new product packagings also link to this.
The ContiTech Power Transmission Group has also been offering this specific product information in Italian since April. At www.contitech.de/pic users find details of how the PIC is structured, what information can be found there by automotive professionals and in what languages.
