(firmenpresse) - Ulsan, Korea – May 8, 2013 – Songwon (www.songwon.com), the second largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers in the world, will participate at Feiplastic 2013 in São Paulo, Brazil (May 20-24) – Stand G91. Feiplastic 2013 is an international trade fair for the plastics market and will be the host to key industry players that will showcase their latest technologies and products. Songwon will co-exhibit with NEXO International, their distributor for Latin America (http://nexointernational.com.br/nexo/). Through this partnership Songwon is able to improve the quality of service and security of supply to its customers.

As an industry leader in the Latin American polymer stabilizers market, Songwon is committed to becoming the supplier of choice through delivering better quality, better service and better value and will feature a number of recent additions to their extensive product range.

Songwon will demonstrate a range of HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers) products through their cooperation with Sabo SpA, based in Levate, Italy that meet customers’ demands for innovative and high performance light stabilization packages solving challenges in UV sensitive polymer applications.

Songwon’s Songnox® OPS products (One Pack Systems) will be featured as well and can now be delivered from the recently started Houston, USA facility. The plant, which is ideally situated to meet the demands of the Latin American market, has a capacity of 7.000 metric tons and will be matched in 2014 by a second new facility in Kizad, Abu Dhabi. Both plants are based on identical regional production processes and will provide equal high quality products to Songwon’s original plant in Greiz, Germany which has a capacity of 14.000 metric tons and collectively place Songwon in the number 1 global position as an OPS producer. Songnox® OPS products combine a range of additives into one dust-free pellet form and offer a number of significant advantages to molders and compounders of thermoplastic materials.
