AvePoint Receives Certificate of Networthiness from U.S. Army

Certification clears AvePoint’s flagship solution, DocAve 6, for deployment throughout the U.S. Army’s IT infrastructure

(firmenpresse) - AvePoint Public Sector, Inc., an independent subsidiary of AvePoint, Inc., the leader in governance, compliance, and management solutions for social enterprise collaboration platforms, today announced it has been granted a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) from the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) for AvePoint’s flagship solution, DocAve 6. This certification enables the U.S. Army to utilize DocAve 6 throughout its IT infrastructure, ensuring all sensitive data is safe and secure while enabling Army personnel to collaborate with confidence. AvePoint’s Certificate of Networthiness is valid until April 1, 2015.

The Certificate of Networthiness is required in order to assure that all outside software, tools, or systems are compliant and meet or exceed the U.S. Army’s requirements for reliability, security, architecture, and integration when deployed within the Army’s existing IT infrastructure. With members of the armed forces located all over the world, it is crucial that they have constant and reliable access to all necessary data in order to collaborate without fear of data leakage that could threaten national security.
