Following the latest success in the United States with the previous
launches Philadelphia, Detroit and Atlanta, Blacklane is once again setting
off in another three cities at the same time: Seattle, San Diego and
Denver. The international company offers a new alternative in daily
transportation needs, providing customers with airport transfers,
transportation to and from meetings and as-directed chauffeur services.
'We said that we go where our customers go. And we really meant it.' states
Dr. Jens Wohltorf, co-founder of Blacklane, adding, 'We are on the way to
becoming the number one international companion for their entire journey.'
Given that the United States is a major destination for travelers from all
over the world, expanding the limousine and chauffeur service further in
the States' biggest and most important cities was inevitable. 'The United
States offers a lot of possibilities. People welcome us and we get the
impression that the Americans couldn't wait for the Blacklane limousine
service,' Wohltorf continues.
As the biggest city in the northwestern United States, Seattle is home to
several global companies and industries, including aviation and aerospace
technologies. 'Blacklane wants to serve the business travelers who arrive
at Seattle-Tacoma airport and need a reliable and comfortable ride to their
meetings.' Wohltorf states. 'But we don't want to forget Seattle residents
either,' Frank Steuer, also co-founder, adds, 'Seattle has a lot of
cultural sights to offer and Blacklane is a perfect alternative to taking a
taxi.'
San Diego is called 'Americas Finest City' because of its pleasant climate.
But that's not the only reason San Diego attracts visitors. 'In recent
years, the city has become an important center for telecommunications and
biotechnology industries,' Steuer says. 'Many business travelers come to
San Diego for important meetings. Blacklane wants to offer them a good
alternative to taking a taxi,' adds Wohltorf, co-founder of Blacklane.
Growing in both population and economic output ever since its founding in
the mid-19th century, Denver is now Colorado's largest city and capital.
Located so centrally in the United States, Denver was predestined to become
a transportation and logistics hub for the country. Today, Denver is a
thriving metropolis, with industries ranging from high tech to financial
services.
The limousine service is now available in 18 cities in the United States:
Chicago, New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Los
Angeles, Baltimore, Las Vegas, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia,
Detroit, Atlanta, Seattle, San Diego and Denver. 'And there is no end in
sight!' Frank Steuer states.
Having received overwhelmingly positive feedback wherever it launches,
Blacklane is firmly establishing itself as one of the leading international
players in the limousine service industry. 'Local providers welcome us
wherever we show up, knowing that we'll add to their revenue instead of
diminishing it.'
Bookings can be made around the clock, online, or with the company's
smartphone app. After specifying their pick-up location and booking period
or desired destination, customers can choose from one of three classes of
vehicles (Business Class, Business Van /SUV, First Class) at a binding,
fixed price including all taxes and fees. Cars can be booked up to fifteen
minutes before the customer's required pick-up time.
After booking, customers receive a confirmation of their order as well as
their chauffeur's contact details. Payments can be made by credit or debit
card and, for companies, can be billed on a monthly basis. All customer
invoices can easily be downloaded from their MyBlacklane account.
Blacklane limousines can now be booked in 19 countries: Australia, Austria,
Belgium, Canada, China (incl. Hong Kong and Macau), Colombia, Czech
Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands,
Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S.
