Yale Ophthalmologist Jimmy K. Lee, MD Joins NVISION Laser Eye Centers
(firmenpresse) - NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/03/12 -- NVISION Laser Eye Centers CEO Todd Cooper announced today the appointment of Dr. Jimmy K. Lee, MD to provide and at NVISION centers throughout Southern California.
Lee was formerly Director, Cornea and Refractive Surgery Sections at Yale Eye Center in New Haven, Connecticut. He also served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, and was an attending surgeon at the Department of Ophthalmology Veteran Affairs, Connecticut Healthcare System.

Dr. Lee's research interests are new technologies in refractive surgery and improving surgical techniques for DSEK (Descemet's Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty). A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, he has published many peer-reviewed articles and is a scientific reviewer for numerous ophthalmologic journals. In addition, he has given important lectures on refractive surgery and corneal transplantation in national scientific meetings.
Dr. Lee graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University and obtained his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. Following his residency at Albert Einstein Montefiore Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
