Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. Sets Revised Record Date
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 01/05/12 -- Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE: SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Corporation") reports that in compliance with the requirements of the TSX Venture Exchange, the record date for the distribution of the TomaGold Corporation ("TomaGold" previously Carbon2Green Corporation) shares has been revised and set at April 30, 2012 (the "Record Date") on which date the TomaGold shares will become freely negotiable. Therefore, all shareholders of Stellar on the Record Date will be eligible to receive, pro rata to their shareholding in Stellar, a portion of the 16,500,000 TomaGold shares to be distributed.
The shares of Stellar will trade ex dividend starting on April 26, 2012 which means that shareholders of Stellar who acquired their shares on or after April 26, 2012 will not be included in the distribution.
As announced January 3, 2012, the sale of Stellar's Quebec mineral assets (170 claims) to TomaGold was completed on December 30, 2011. In exchange of the properties, Stellar has received 22,000,000 shares of TomaGold (please refer to for more details on the transaction). The TomaGold shares received are subject to a four month and one day hold period and are also subject to an escrow agreement which provides for the gradual release of the shares over a three year period. The TSX Venture Exchange has agreed to exclude from escrow the TomaGold shares to be distributed to Stellar's shareholders provided that none of Stellar's shareholders are "Principals" of TomaGold, as such term is defined by the TSX Venture Exchange (generally refers to an insider of TomaGold).
