The current overall average price for is $144, based on data from the TicketNetwork Exchange*. This is lower than acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, whose tour has an average price of $191. The disparity in average prices is due to lower demand for tickets to Clarkson's shows. The Chili Peppers have sold almost ten times as many tickets as Clarkson despite starting their tour only a week later. The lower demand benefits fans still looking for Clarkson tickets, as approximately 35% of the tour's tickets are priced at or below $100 on TicketNetwork.com.
Clarkson's tour begins on January 13 in Mashantucket, CT, and ends on April 10 in San Diego, CA. The new tour is her first in almost three years. It comes a few months after she released her latest album, Stronger, which is, in contrast to the tour, currently enjoying a boost in sales.
