2011 Event Drew a Record 16,000 Attendees and Generated Millions of Dollars in Sales Yerba Buena Center for the Arts to Benefit From Preview Night Wednesday, May 16

This year, the Fair will open a day early and feature a special preview reception on to benefit San Francisco's (). Last year's Fair shattered records with more than 16,000 in attendance and millions in sales.

According to Friedman, now is the time for savvy art buyers, noting that the Fair's price points range from $1,000 to $1 million.
"Our focus this year will be on identifying, recruiting and welcoming new prospective collectors into the Bay Area," said Friedman, noting that the Fair's schedule had been expanded to five days to accommodate greater access for collectors from all over the region. "Our Fair is designed to accommodate locals exploring the worlds of art acquisition, not only from the Bay Area and Silicon Valley, but also for visiting art lovers from Southern California and throughout the southwest. This latter contingent will be comprised of scores of our museum partners from our Palm Springs Fine Art Fair in February."
As part of the Fair's community partnership program, every day of the Fair a different Bay Area nonprofit or educational institution will be highlighted at a special fundraising reception. A detailed list of participating institutions will be announced in the coming days.
will be held at San Francisco's Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion (Marina Boulevard (at) Buchanan Street), May 17 through May 20: Thursday, May 17, 5:30pm-9:30pm; Friday, May 18, 12noon-8pm; Saturday, May 19, 11am-7pm; Sunday, May 20, 11am-6pm. Individual tickets are $25 for one day; $40 for all four days. Tickets for the May 16 previewing benefiting Yerba Buena Center for the Arts are $100 which includes a four day pass to the Fair. .
