Christian Fredrikson Joins F-Secure as President and CEO

Brings 20 Years of Technology and Mobile Communications Industry Experience

(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/17/12 -- Internet security company today announced that Christian Fredrikson has officially joined the company as its new president and chief executive officer. He was appointed to the position in November 2011.

My role, together with the strong F-Secure team, is to drive future growth for the company," said Fredrikson.

Fredrikson was previously with Nokia Siemens Networks, where he was responsible for global sales for the Network Systems business unit. He has also been head of the Asia Pacific Region and head of OBS Business Unit (Operation and Business Software). Fredrikson joined Nokia in 1994 where he held several executive positions in various locations, including R&D and sales.

Fredrikson, 47, is a Finnish citizen and holds a master's degree in engineering from Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland.
