LA Legal Administrators to Host Leading Employment Law Educational Event
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/18/12 -- 250 members of the Los Angeles legal community are expected to attend the Annual Employment Law Forum, hosted by Greater Los Angeles, a Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (GLA ALA), on Saturday, January 28 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Marriott Downtown located at 333 S. Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.
This leading employment law educational event for legal management professionals will feature the update of new employment laws for 2012 with Silver & Freedman Partner Beth Schroeder along with additional sessions by industry experts:
GLEN KRAEMER, ESQ., Founding Partner of Curiale Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP, on 'Conducting Effective Investigations'
PAUL FALCONE, Vice President of Human Resources, NBC Universal, Inc., on 'Tough Conversations to Have with Employees'
KIMBERLY PAPILLON, ESQ., Senior Education Specialist for the California Judicial Council, on 'Fairness and Decision-Making: The Link Between the Brain and Preference' (approved for 90 minutes MCLE credit in elimination of bias).
Nationwide Legal LLC, First Legal Network Support Services and over 40 other Business Partners will offer cutting-edge exhibits, products and information during the three-hour exposition and exhibit hall.
The cost to attend half day is $55 for members and $85 for non GLA ALA members. Full day is $80 for members and $110 for non GLA ALA members. CLM certification and recertification credits will be earned for those attending. The cost for the MCLE program with lunch is $40 for attorneys.
