NIRI Orange County to Host Dr. Esmael Adibi
2012 Economic Outlook... A Fireside Chat
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/18/12 -- The Orange County Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI OC) announced today that it will host Dr. Esmael Adibi for an intimate conversation and cocktail reception regarding the Economic Outlook for 2012. This is an annual event for NIRI OC where Dr. Adibi provides valuable insight on what can be expected Nationwide, in California and most importantly for us locally in Southern California. Dr. Adibi welcomes questions and will be available after the event to meet audience members. Space for the event is limited.
Dr. Esmael Adibi is the director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research and Anderson Chair of Economic Analysis at Chapman University. He received his doctorate degree in Economics from Claremont Graduate University. His research interests include macroeconomics, financial markets, and regional economics. Dr. Adibi has co-authored two textbooks, Econometric Analysis -- An Applications Approach, and The Practice of Econometrics with EViews. His articles have been published in newspapers including The Los Angeles Times, and the Orange County Register, as well as professional journals such as International Advances in Economic Research, the Journal of Private Enterprise, and the Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics. Dr. Adibi is past president of the Association for University Business and Economic Research. He is a member of the NABE Outlook Survey Panel and Western Blue Chip Economic Forecast Panel. He serves on the board of directors of SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, and is a member of California Controller's Council of Economic Advisors.

The Orange County Chapter of NIRI was established in 1990 and includes corporate officers and investor relations consultants responsible for communication among corporate management, shareholders, securities analysts and other financial community constituents. The chapter hosts meetings and networking events throughout the year that feature topics of relevance to investor relations professionals. Topics include capital markets, social media, economic trends, and securities regulations.
