Tail-f Systems and BLiNQ Networks Bring Management Scalability to Next Generation Small Cell Mobile Networks
(firmenpresse) - STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN and PLANO, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 01/24/12 -- and , today announced that BLiNQ will use Tail-f's ConfD software to build the management system for its next generation of wireless backhaul solutions. BLiNQ will use Tail-f's technology to provide wireless operators a scalable, industry standard management interface to configure and monitor BLiNQ's backhaul modules as part of a larger mobile network.

BLiNQ's Backhaul Self-Organizing-Network (B-SON) systems are designed to continuously monitor and adapt to a changing radio frequency environment to maximize backhaul network performance through dynamic interference management and resource allocation. This allows wireless network operators to reduce the total cost of ownership of small cell deployments by simplifying the planning, design and installation processes and enables wireless operators to deploy small cells wherever they are required to solve capacity bottlenecks.
Tail-f Systems' ConfD software will enable BLiNQ to build their network management application in less time and with support for carrier-grade implementations of NETCONF, Web, and SNMP interfaces. BLiNQ will also benefit from ConfD capabilities including powerful transaction management, true model-driven development, and an embedded high performance database.
