Underseas Research&Recovery Ltd. ('Underseas' or the 'Company'), the
Toronto based holding company of a European internet and satellite radio
informs that the Company through an authorized German law office is in
close cooperation with the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority in
Germany, BaFin, and other Public Authorities with regard to the misleading
and fraudulent spam messages, which were promoted end of the year 2011.
In this context, Underseas would like to refer to the latest update
published by BaFin on January 4th, 2012. Specified therein, BaFin announces
that Underseas Research&Recovery Ltd. 'has repudiated the distributed
spam faxes and spam e-mails' and 'that a takeover bid by a large software

In connection with the efforts for clarification in this matter, the
Company through a German law office already had filed a criminal complaint
with the District Attorney Frankfurt/Main file number 7421 UJs 223658/11
end of last year.
