Former Kodak Silver Recycling Division, Rochester Silver Works, Launches Website
(firmenpresse) - ROCHESTER, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 02/01/12 -- Rochester Silver Works, LLC, formerly the silver refining department of Eastman Kodak, has announced the launch of its website. The new site is designed to showcase the company's formation under new ownership and continued operations as one of the largest silver refining operations in the world.
Since the purchase from Kodak in October of 2011, RSW has worked to enhance its services and capabilities to better serve customers and expand its operations into new markets. The new RSW website provides information on the full range of the company's capabilities from recycling and refining to manufacturing. Future plans for the site include industry related news and additional customer resources.

Rochester Silver Works specializes in the wholesale recycling and refining of silver and gold. Incoming materials include: jewelry, sterling silver, dore, sweeps, manufacturing waste streams and traditional photographic film products such as: cinematography, medical and industrial x-rays, microfilm, graphic arts film and film from single use cameras.
Recycled materials produced by RSW include: high purity silver (>99.99%), and high quality commercial volume silver chemicals such as silver nitrate, silver oxide, as well as other silver derivatives. Film wash operations at RSW generate greater than 20 million pounds per year of recycled polyester film base which is considered amongst the highest quality recycled polyester commercially available.
