(TSX VENTURE: YCC) and its subsidiary Freedom Bionics, in collaboration with Cognitive Research Canada, announce updated mobile services suite bringing the safety, security and communications of family members in a household. The company will be shipping the new MindMyFamily suite of applications beginning mid Q1 2012.
The suite of integrated services include MindMyFamily, MindMyShopping, MindMyDrivers, MindMyHealth and MindMyTraffic services - all designed to protect the safety of family members when they are on-the-go during their busy days. The services and mobile apps are available directly from Freedom Bionics, as well as from select smartphone resellers and kiosks in popular malls. The mobile apps run on iPhone and Android smartphones.
The MindMyShopping application not only allows a family to manage group and individual shopping lists, but also acts as a mobile advertising platform for malls and large retailers. It provides services to malls, including a mall navigation package, a mall-specific store and product search engine, while also providing low-cost access by mall stores to their clients for electronic coupons and in-store specials.
