Minco Base Metals Announces Previous Sale of its Interest in White Silver Mountain

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/02/12 -- Minco Base Metals Corporation (the "Company" or "Minco Base Metals") reports that it had closed the transaction relating to the sale of its 61% interest in Gansu Keyin Mining Co. Ltd. ("Keyin") to Baiyin Non-Ferrous Metals Group Co. Ltd. for RMB 155,000,000 (approximately C$23,000,000) at the end of June 2010. The sale completed following the approval by shareholders of such sale at the Company's annual general and special meeting held on June 29, 2010. Keyin holds a 100% interest in the White Silver Mountain project located in Gansu, China.
