Ignis awarded another splitter agreement in Asia

Ignis ASA, an international provider of opticalcomponents, announced today that they have entered into another supply agreementfor delivery of splitter chips to a leading Asian manufacturer of opticalsplitter modules. The agreement is signed for a period of 3 years and isestimated to have a minimum value the first year of USD 1.5 million.Ignis is experiencing substantial growth of business demand in all productsegments. Over the last year, Ignis has gained a particularly strong marketposition in Asia with a large portfolio of blue chip customers.- This is another proof of our competitive strength in the splitter chipsegment.
