Sandeep Rawal Named CTO as Firm's Client Base Triples in Its First Year

In his new position, Mr. Rawal will lead HazelTree's efforts to use breakthrough technology to deliver high-performance, customer-focused Treasury functionality to multi-primed hedge funds. He is moving into the role as former CTO Matt Johnson takes on consulting duties for HazelTree at one of the world's most respected hedge funds, a firm that has just become HazelTree's 10th licensed client.

Prior to his new role at HazelTree, Mr. Rawal most recently served as CTO of Fir Tree Partners, where AUM grew to more than $7 billion during his tenure. He brings over 20 years of knowledge and experience from his years at Moore Capital Management and Maverick Capital in New York, as well as deep global experience working for Pepsico International and Apel Computer in Botswana.
