(firmenpresse) - MARIETTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/09/12 -- Dozens of bank-owned properties -- including commercial buildings, retail properties, homes, office buildings, home sites and land -- will sell in back-to-back auctions for the FDIC March 9 and 10, with Marietta-based managing the events.

The first sale, set to begin at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, will include properties in Habersham, Barrow, Dawson, Stephens, White, Banks, Clarke, Hart, Rabun and Hall counties. The event will be held at the Georgia Mountains Center, Gainesville.

"We'll be selling the Shoppes at Turtle Creek, a 16-unit shopping center in Winder, two industrial warehouse facilities in Eastanollee, a five-building office/warehouse property in Cleveland, an office/retail shopping center in Baldwin and several other commercial properties, as well as some homes and subdivision lots," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.

On Saturday, March 10, the company will auction properties located in the metro Atlanta and Macon areas, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Airport. Among those properties are a former bank branch in Carrollton, a former bank operations center in Jackson, and a two-story office building in Conyers, as well as homes, residential land, subdivision lots and commercial land.

Dixon said that the company is coming off a record year in 2011, with more than 4,800 properties sold in 21 states. "We've helped a lot of banks, as well as the FDIC, get property sold and back into the productive economy, and we anticipate another great year in 2012," said Dixon.
