BIM Industry Experts K.P. Reddy and Matthew Holzemer Join GT
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/15/12 -- (GT), a global leader in applying technology to building industry challenges, today announces that K.P. Reddy, managing director and Matthew Holzemer, project manager, have joined the company. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and thought leadership.
"We are thrilled to have K.P. and Matt join us in our mission to improve building design, construction and operation through the use of technology," said Dayne Myers, CEO of Gehry Technologies. "K.P.'s expansive industry expertise, background in applied solutions, and thoughtful approach to owners and operators combined with Matt's ability to apply contemporary project management strategies will help drive our portfolio of services to deliver even more value this year."
With a leadership role in the services business, Reddy is helping to solidify GT's services to AEC firms, as well as extend services to owners and operators. He brings immense leadership and business development expertise to the group, and in the role of managing director, will be working across all aspects of the services business to drive improvement, growth and value for clients.
Previously, Reddy served as vice president of BIM Services at ARC, one of the largest global construction information management companies. He also founded and served as CEO of RCMS Group and was vice president of operations and CIO for Verso Technologies.
A nationally recognized expert on construction technologies, including BIM, he is a sought-after speaker and industry advisor. He is also the author of the book "BIM for Building Owners and Developers: Making a Business Case for Using BIM on Projects," written for building owners.
Reddy also holds several advisory roles with companies and organizations like AMPIRIX and Midtown Bank and Trust Company and he is a Charter Member at TiE Atlanta.
Holzemer was hired to help expand GT's project delivery and program management services. He brings a wealth of experience in contemporary approaches to AEC project management -- including IPD, lean and other innovative techniques -- and will be integrating GT's BIM services with project and construction management services across global clients.
Most recently, Holzemer served as a management consultant at Sellen Construction, a commercial general contractor in Seattle. In that role, he advised their senior leadership team on integrated project delivery strategy -- including specifically construction schedule control, BIM, pre-fabrication, team-building and design management -- for a number of projects, notable among them a $230M fast-track hospital. Formerly, Holzemer led the entitlements, design and construction of over $200M of real estate development projects in Seattle and advised the British Airport Authority on project delivery strategy for their $8B Heathrow Airport Terminal-5 expansion in London, England.
