Anta Banderas Seminar Takes Place Friday, February 24 at the PERRY, SOUTH BEACH
(firmenpresse) - MIAMI BEACH, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/17/12 -- The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE is pleased to welcome acting legend Antonio Banderas to its 2012 edition. Banderas will introduce his namesake Anta Banderas winery during a sold-out seminar on Friday, February 24 at the PERRY, SOUTH BEACH.

When the winery first began production in 1999 in Ribera del Duero, just north of Madrid, Spain it did so under the banner Anta Bodegas. Banderas joined the project in June 2009 and the winery was renamed Anta Banderas. The winery currently consists of 235 acres of vineyard strategically located in two distinct areas, one near the winery and one at 850 meters above sea level that practices mountain viticulture. Wines from Anta Banderas will also be poured at the Festival's premier event for aficionados -- Fontainebleau Miami Beach presents Wine Spectator's Best of the Best sponsored by Bank of America -- also on Friday, February 24.
While this seminar is sold-out, other seminars and events at the 2012 Festival are available. More information is available online at and via phone at 877.762.3933. An on-site box office will also be open at 13th Street and Ocean Drive starting Tuesday, February 21. All proceeds from the Festival benefit the Florida International University (FIU) Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center.
