Company Appoints Local AEC Technology Industry Veteran Emmanuel Samuel to Develop Business From Singapore Office
(firmenpresse) - MANCHESTER, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 02/17/12 -- ®, a () software company serving the building and infrastructure industry, today announced that it has expanded further in the Asia Pacific region with the appointment of as senior director of business development, Asia Pacific region. Samuel brings more than 20 years of experience in IT business development, sales and marketing, with particular strength in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) market. He will be responsible for further developing Newforma's network of partners and customers in the APAC region and will be based out of the company's new Singapore office.
Construction is expected to contribute 10 to 15 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in most APAC countries this year with aggressive plans to accommodate their growing and congested cities. Seven of the ten tallest buildings in the world are planned to be constructed in the region. With such aggressive plans for construction, PIM will be crucial to helping project teams in the region achieve their project delivery objectives.

He also previously worked for Autodesk Asia as a director with responsibility for driving sales and industry marketing development in the APAC region. He also held various management positions driving sales and market growth in APAC for IBM, Datastream and IPC Corporation.
