Esther Raff joins Ströer
Sales expert to boost German management team
Cologne, February 21, 2012 Esther Raff will become Managing Director for
Sales and Marketing at Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH (SMD) in Cologne as of
March 1, 2012. A media expert, she has made a name for herself in the media
world by her work on the reorientation of radio marketing company AS&S
Radio GmbH over the past six years. As the company's managing director, she
introduced new cross-media products such as 'Listen&Surf' which helped the
radio advertising organization emerge from its public-service background
and structures and become a 'marketer of the future'. The efficient
structures and new image she put in place not only brought in a stream of
new clients, but also won significant market share from the competition in
this fully consolidated market.
Her marketing expertise will boost the German management team headed by CEO
Dirk Wiedenmann and Managing Directors Alexander Stotz and Ingo Rieper. She
will work closely with Axel Wiehler (national sales) and Christian von den
Brincken marketing and strategy) and report directly to Dirk Wiedenmann.
