Migration to Avail-TVN MPEG-4 Solution Creates New Opportunities for Rural Cable Operator

As of February 1, 2012, Cass Cable's MPEG-2 service has been replaced with a complete, hosted MPEG-4 video solution, including a full bouquet of SD and HD programming.

Avail-TVN delivers more than 300 SD and HD linear channels, plus more than 16,000 hours of VOD content from its Super Head End in Burbank, California. By offering a centralized managed service approach, ATVN's service offering enables cable providers to reduce the capital investment at their site while leveraging Avail-TVN's distribution.
