Standard Graphite Commences Airborne EM Survey in Quebec
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/23/12 -- Standard Graphite Corp (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: SGH) is pleased to announce that it has commenced exploration on its Carheil, Sandy Lake, Sandy NE and River Graphite properties. An airborne TDEM survey conducted by Aeroquest International Limited is currently being flown over the four (4) properties located in Northern Quebec and the results from this survey will serve to evaluate the extent of the known occurrences and help in the discovery of new mineralization.

The airborne survey consists in flying some 930 line kilometres at low altitude to measure the bedrock conductivity (TDEM) and magnetic properties. Graphite is a mineral with unique physical properties and is well known for its high conductivity. The survey has been designed to optimize the response from potential conductors and to discriminate between the types of conductors. The TDEM instrument used in the airborne survey is equivalent although more powerful to the one used during the ground test. Results from the airborne survey are expected in March and will form the backbone of the upcoming prospecting, trenching and drilling programs planned in Quebec for 2012.
Antoine Fournier, P. Geo., manages Standard's exploration and development programs and is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. He supervised the preparation of the technical information in this release.
