SIEM, Web Application Firewall and Threat Intelligence Raise the Bar for Managed Security Services

Trustwave also announced the SpiderLabs Program, a new subscription-based managed security service that gives organizations access to the latest research, insight and analysis from Trustwave SpiderLabs. The new managed security services and the Threat Intelligence Program are designed to give organizations the tools and intelligence they need to protect themselves from cyber security threats and data loss.

Trustwave's provides Web applications with real-time, continuous security and protection from vulnerabilities and data loss so the applications can operate as intended and expected. This managed security service offering sends events from a Trustwave Web application firewall appliance to Trustwave Security Operations Centers where security experts use Trustwave SIEM technology to correlate and analyze application-specific events to generate alerts. This deep analysis is used to detect application attacks so organizations need only be involved in alerts that need their attention.
Trustwave has also enhanced its . The Trustwave Managed SIEM Appliance is a managed on-premise event collector, which now transmits events to Trustwave Security Operations Centers for analysis, reporting and archiving. Trustwave analyzes security events on behalf of customers and helps them take action to reduce security risks. As a result, customers can more easily identify and mitigate security threats without having to manage the SIEM in-house.
