For example, an interactive questionnaire on the lower right hand side of teach page called "Pet Selector" asks visitors a set of questions to help prospective pet owners figure out which type of pet might best suit their lifestyles and personalities.
Back under the "Veterinary Topics" section, the "Pets4Kids" menu option takes kids to online coloring pages, puzzles and games such as National Geographic Kids' virtual pet game called "Zipper". Dr. Grewal hopes this will be a fun way for the younger members of a pet's family to learn about proper pet care and responsible pet ownership.
The website also includes several features that Dr. Grewal says were designed to make visiting the easier. Families can request appointments, print coupons and find a map with directions to the vet clinic. First time visitors can also download new patient forms and fill them out at home before coming in for an appointment. Dr. Grewal hopes this will streamline the paperwork process and give him and his staff more time to spend with their patients.
