Meadows Bank Successfully Sells Its Fourth SBA 504 Loan Pool
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 02/28/12 -- Meadows Bank, a full service community bank specializing in Small Business Administration (SBA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) loans, headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, announced today it has successfully sold its fourth SBA 504 loan pool under the SBA First Mortgage Loan Pooling Program.
"We are very pleased to announce the sale of our fourth SBA 504 loan pool. The SBA 504 pooling program has enabled the Bank to provide needed financing to small businesses which would otherwise not receive it. This important SBA program is set to expire in September 2012 unless Congress acts to extend it. I urge all small business owners, banks and certified development companies, to write to their Congressman to support an extension of this valuable program. No additional government funds need to be expended in order to extend the program and with the economy just starting to show slight improvement, now is not the time to let a program that helps small businesses expire," said Calvin Regan, Senior Vice President and Manager of the SBA Department.
Meadows Bank is an SBA approved pool originator and expects to continue to form and sell loan pools as long as the program is available through the SBA. The program is currently authorized to operate through September 2012.
