Burns joins Axceler from, the leading provider of security risk intelligence solutions, where he headed up Rapid7's business development teams as Regional Vice President for Western U.S. and U.K. Sales. Prior to Rapid7, Burns spent nine years at Stride & Associates, a leading provider of national placement services for full-time IT, financial and account professionals. He helped grow the Stride & Associates sales team to 500 at its peak, serving simultaneously in senior sales positions in San Francisco, Silicon Valley and New York City. Burns earned a BA in political science from Gettysburg College.
