Belani will speak at SMX West on a paneled titled "Retargeting & Remarketing: The New Behavorial Ads" to be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 3:30pm-4:45 pm. He will join panelists from Overstock.com, Maponics, and Certified Knowledge to discuss best practices for using retargeting to increase brand reach and conversions.
As part of the panel, Belani will share case studies and proven best practices from Rocket Fuel's brand advertisers who deploy its retargeting solutions, and explain how to use predictive analytics and algorithmic modeling to dramatically improve retargeting ROI.
A noted ad technology and data analytics expert, Belani has authored several academic publications and holds six patents. Prior to Rocket Fuel, Belani was the founder and CEO of Sensact Applications, and was earlier part of Epiphany's product management team. Epiphany acquired iLeverage, a company Belani co-founded as its CTO. Early in his career he worked at Oracle as a development engineer. He speaks frequently at industry events, including Digiday Target, ad:tech, the Interactive Insights Summit, and Digital World Expo.
