Vytran to Highlight Latest Optical Fiber Processing Equipment at OFC/NFOEC 2012

The CAS-4100 optical fiber splicer -- a new, compact, semi-automated, easy-to-use splicer ideal for use in manufacturing telecom fiber assemblies such as erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) and dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) modules.
The GPX-3600 glass processor -- a new, versatile system designed to create splices, combiners, tapers, couplers, end caps and other fused components on optical fibers with diameters as large as 1.8 mm.
The SAS-400 -- a new hot acid stripper designed to remove the protective coating from a fiber while preserving the fiber's intrinsic strength. Vytran will demonstrate the system's intuitive graphical user interface.
Vytran will also show a number of its established products, including a PTR-200-ARL automated fiber recoater/proof tester and a PTR-200-PRL polyimide fiber recoater/proof tester, an LDC-400 large-diameter fiber cleaver, and an FFS-2000 all-in-one splicing workstation.
