Go in the Room Behind the Room to See How a VP Candidate Is Really Picked

Schwarzenegger's 2006 reelection campaign, and Christopher Lehane, former Press Secretary for Al Gore's presidential campaign who earned the nickname "Master of Disaster" for his crisis communications work at the Clinton White House, have joined up to host a show on Spreecast called "Pitbull Politics."

Lehane and Schmidt will take you into the room behind the room in politics, where few ever go and the real decisions are made. For the kick off show, they will discuss the VP selection process in depth, with new and unique insight as to what happens behind closed doors. This is especially true and timely with the upcoming HBO premiere of "Game Change" on March 10th, which talks about the 2008 GOP process. The Republican nominee in 2012, whether it's Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul or Newt Gingrich, will soon be in the thick of this decision as well.
"Game Change" is an HBO film starring Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and Ed Harris. The movie follows John McCain's (Harris) 2008 presidential campaign, from his selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (Moore) as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election. Harrelson portrays Steve Schmidt, McCain's senior campaign strategist.
The Spreecast platform provides all viewers with the ability to participate in the live event, but gives them the ability to watch the recorded archive after the live event has ended.
