Metaways Infosystems enhances its product portfolio with e-commerce framework Arcavias
Right on time for the CeBIT 2012, Metaways Infosystems GmbH presents the second product from its Open Source portfolio. In addition to the groupware solution Tine 2.0, the e-commerce framework Arcavias is the next big development of the Hamburg IT provider.

The Arcavias team released the first official core package as part of the e-commerce framework. It includes the e-commerce library and the desktop-like administration interface written in ExtJS.
"We are especially proud of the performance of the library which can be reproduced in our small ZendFramework demo application." says Norbert Sendetzky, Team Leader Software Engineering and Product Management Arcavias.
The demo is available at http://demo.arcavias.com/, contains more than 100,000 articles and uses no content caching at all.
The release is intended for developers who would like to build their own applications on top of the Arcavias framework.
