Metso to deliver shredder plant to Karl Kaufmann AG in Switzerland
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Metso Corporation's press release on February 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.Metso has received an order for a complete customized shredder plant from KarlKaufmann AG, based in Switzerland. The shredder plant will be delivered duringthe second half of 2010. The order is included in the Energy and EnvironmentalTechnology's Q4 orders received for 2009.Metso's delivery includes a complete, customized shredder plant for shreddinglight to medium-heavy mixed scrap, car bodies, new sheet scrap and aluminumscrap. In addition, Metso will deliver a specially designed de-dusting system aswell as a state of the art plant control system. The new medium-sized plant willproduce up to 90, 000 tons of ferrous output per year and will contribute toincrease the productivity of one of the most efficient sites in Switzerland.The value of these types of shredder plant orders is usually under EUR 10million.
