Amcor Flexibles wins a 2008 FlexoStar award
Amcor Flexibles is proud to announce that they have received the 2008 FlexoStar Bronze award in the category 'Polyethylene films for sachets'. Amcor Flexibles received the award for their excellent quality in flexo printing of the 'Cromwell's Royal De Luxe Scotch Whisky' beverage sachets.
The winning pack(firmenpresse) - The 50 ml sachets are the perfect size for launching and marketing new brands, use in planes or at exhibitions, for hotel mini-bars or anytime small format beverage packaging is required.
The film has been printed in seven colours on Amcor's brand new UV Flexo machine in France. The design of the sachet was very demanding as the light reflection on the printed bottle and the shadowed logo in the background required high level printing skills. The text on the sachet is very small and needs to be perfectly readable, whilst a gold overprint highlights the very fine details of the design.
Pierre Fehrenbach, Plant Manager at Amcor Flexibles Speed, received the award from the President of the French Technical Flexography Association (ATF). “I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of Amcor Flexibles. It reconfirms that our investment in a new UV Flexo machine was the right step to take. I would like to dedicate this award to our people at Amcor Flexibles Speed, whose enthusiasm and commitment allow us to produce short runs and offer short lead times without compromising on our high printing quality," Pierre commented.
