Saia Names New Vice President of Maintenance and Properties
(firmenpresse) - JOHNS CREEK, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/05/12 -- Saia, Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIA) announced that Mike Nix has been named the company's vice president of maintenance and properties.
In this role, Nix will be responsible for the acquisition, maintenance and disposition of all real estate and operating equipment on behalf of the company.
"Aside from ensuring that Saia has the equipment and infrastructure to further our business goals, I want to make sure that every piece of equipment we own is operating safely, efficiently and in a manner that is environmentally sound," explained Nix. A 20-year industry veteran, Nix has experience managing a large private fleet and most recently managed a logistics company in Brazil.
