Percona Announces Submission Deadlines for BOFs and Lightning Talks for the Percona Live MySQL Conference and Expo

(firmenpresse) - PLEASANTON, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/06/12 -- , the company that makes MySQL faster and more reliable, has announced that March 12, 2012 is the deadline for Birds of a Feather and Lightning Talk submissions for the taking place at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara and Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif., April 10-12, 2012. March 12 also marks the last day attendees can benefit from early bird registration pricing and take advantage of the hotel group rate.
Formerly the hosted by O'Reilly and Associates, this "must attend" three-day event provides a great opportunity for MySQL users, developers and vendors to exchange knowledge and information about MySQL and attend breakout sessions, keynotes, and tutorials presented by some of the most respected MySQL practitioners in the industry.
(BOF) sessions enable attendees with the same project or topic interests to enjoy some quality face time. BOFs can be organized for individual projects or broader topics (e.g., best practices, open data, standards). Any attendee or conference speaker can propose and moderate an engaging BOF. Percona will post the selected topics and moderators online and provide a meeting space and time. The deadline for submitting a BOF is March 12.
