Harmonic Appoints Susan Swenson to Its Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/06/12 -- Harmonic Inc. (NASDAQ: HLIT) today announced it has expanded the Company's Board of Directors with the appointment of Susan G Swenson. Ms. Swenson, 63, is a seasoned executive with a strong technology background in telecommunications. Ms. Swenson most recently held the position of president and chief executive officer of Sage North America, where she led the North American arm of the UK based The Sage Group PLC. During her impressive career she has held the role of president and chief executive officer of Cellular One and the role of chief operating officer at several firms including New/Motion/Atrinsic, Amp'd Mobile, T-Mobile USA, Leap Wireless International, Inc and PacTel Cellular.
Ms. Swenson has served on the Board of Directors of Wells Fargo since 1994 and joined the Board of Directors of Spirent PLC in February of 2012.
