Project Management Gets Social

ProjectManager.com announced today the release of their Google plus, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn communities for project management.
The Google + community includes a suite of free project management training videos, webinars, articles, tools and tips to help managers deliver projects easier than before. All of this content is fed from the new Centre at .

Within hours of releasing the new video channel on YouTube, they had more than 50,000 plays of their project management learning videos. As well as streaming videos through their Resource Centre, they also upload them to their Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google plus accounts.
"It's where the Web is going", says Westland. "Everything is becoming more social, open, viral and free. The trick is to create high-quality content that people love and value. That's a difficult thing to do because there are usually a few experts in the market that are willing to provide this content for free. That's why we stand out from the rest."
This announcement comes just days after the release of their free for the Apple and Google Android platforms. Their mobile app for Apple gains over 2000 installs a week and likewise, their app also received a lot of attention in the market when released just a few weeks ago.
In the future, the Company had plans to extend their free content portal. They are secretive about their plans but promise to deliver even more leading-edge content to the Project Management Community to keep projects on track.
