Perlite Canada Inc. Announces Change to its Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 03/09/12 -- Perlite Canada inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: PCI) announces hereby the departure of Patrick Whalen from its Board of Directors, effective March 5, 2012.
Mr. Patrick Whalen was appointed as director of the Company in April 2010 while being the president and founder of Maroxa Management Inc., a firm specialized in financial management and analysis and in project financing. Mr. Whalen joined the company SynergX Technologies Inc. in November 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. After more than a year in that position and with several challenges, Mr. Whalen wishes now to focus his professional activities in helping his employer to realise its business plan and considers that he has not the time to fulfil his board member tasks.
The Company thanks Mr. Whalen for the valued services and advices given to the Company during his term as director and wishes him good luck.
The board members of the Company will take the necessary period of time to evaluate all potential board members.
