Amsterdam, the Netherlands, March 12, 2012 - Ahold has repurchased 2,708,207
Ahold common shares in the period from March 5, 2012 up to and including March
9, 2012. The shares were repurchased at an average price of
? 10.0502 per share for a total consideration of ? 27.22 million. These
repurchases were made as part of the ? 1 billion share buyback program announced
on March 3, 2011.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is
105,369,422 common shares for a total consideration of ? 984.98 million.
