McKeon Meunier Expands Office, Adds Associates
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/13/12 -- Atlanta intellectual property law firm McKeon, Meunier, Carlin and Curfman, LLC has extended its lease at the historic Atlanta Biltmore and has relocated to 15,000 square feet of renovated space on the building's fifth floor.
"It is very gratifying to see the strong demand for our services," said firm Principal Tina McKeon, Ph.D. "In the past year we have added litigation, trademark and copyright services to our suite of IP offerings and recently expanded our depth of experience in certain technical areas through the hiring of three top-notch associates."
The three most recent associate hires expand the firm's footprint in chemical, pharmaceutical, electrical and medical device patent prosecution and add support to the growing litigation practice.
Alexis N. Simpson will focus her practice on domestic and foreign patent prosecution in the chemical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor fields. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law and has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Walter Hill "Trey" Levie III graduated magna cum laude from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in May 2011, ranking third in his class. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University and his practice will include all aspects of intellectual property.
Bjorn G. Anderson will focus his practice on patent prosecution in the electrical arts. Anderson is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After serving five years as a U.S. Navy Submarine Officer, he attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating summa cum laude in the top one percent of his class.
Though the growth has been rapid, the firm maintains that expansion has been deliberate and responsive to their growing client roster.
